The founder of VITALFIT HEALTH & FITNESS. Based in Dunfermline (Fife). I founded my coaching philosophy on one simple belief: true health is the foundation of a fulfilling life. It is not merely the absence of illness but the strength, confidence and vitality that allow you to thrive every day.
With more than three years of experience in the fitness industry, I have worked with both men and women, with a particular focus on supporting women. I understand the challenges many women face, including hormonal changes, demanding careers, family responsibilities, chronic stress and the difficulty of maintaining healthy habits. My own experiences give me a deeper understanding of these obstacles and shape the way I coach—with empathy, knowledge and a commitment to sustainable, long- term results.
I believe investing in your health is one of the greatest acts of self-respect. Through purposeful movement, balanced nutrition and consistent daily habits, you can transform not only your body, but also your energy, mindset and confidence. Today, I work with women who are ready to prioritise themselves without guilt. Together, we build strength, restore balance and create lasting lifestyle changes that fit real life. My mission is to empower each client to become the strongest, healthiest and most confident version of herself—inside and out. Through realistic exercise routines that suit your lifestyle, gradual nutrition changes that feel manageable, stress-management strategies and energy-building habits, sustainable routines that work around family, career and everyday commitments.
Vice Chair, Friends of Queen Margaret Hospital
Since retiring from my 38 year career in financial services and closing down my personal training business, I have concentrated on my hobbies, one of which is needlework and crochet. This has led to my involvement with the Friends of Queen Margaret Hospital charity which raises money to support otherwise unfunded projects. Our aim is to provide extra comforts and amenities for patients and staff within the Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.
I have recently been appointed Vice Chair of the Executive Committee which oversees the activities of the charity, organizes our fundraising events and disbursements of funds.
Our most recent donations have included 3 relax chairs for the new gynaecological ward, tools and plants for the refurbishment of a garden attached to long stay and dementia wards, board games and activities for dementia patients and educational toys to be used in outreach work with non verbal children.
Our large band of knitters, crocheters and sewers provide us with a continuous supply of high quality goods – primarily clothing for babies and children – which are sold at monthly sales within the hospital foyer, at the Kingsgate Business Market in the town, and more recently at the popular Jack and Jill Market. We are developing an online catalogue and are happy to take commissions for special orders.
My name is Laura and I am a yoga teacher. I qualified as a teacher in 2007 and taught on and off throughout my working career in Financial Services. I am an accredited teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga as well as Menopause Yoga. In 2023 I made the decision to focus full time on teaching and I currently teach in person classes and workshops in Dunfermline as well as online. My hope is to build a community of students, helping them find awareness of their body and the breath.
