Hi am Carolyn Laithwaite RVN. I am a qualified and rcvs registered mobile veterinary nurse and visit your pets at your house, to make their life, and yours easier.
I qualified as a veterinary nurse back in 2000 and have spent over half of my years in the profession in emergency nursing at one of the busiest out of hours practices in the UK, first employed and since 2004 as a locum.
The rest has been as a locum in general and referral veterinary nursing and smaller veterinary out of hours around the whole of the UK.
I work within the rcvs guidelines and offer professional support for your pet’s needs in the comfort of their home. All pets can be considered, dogs, cats, rabbits and small pets and I have a special interest in exotics.
Included in the over 17 different mobile veterinary nursing services I offer:
Nail clips and anal gland expression.
Do you have problems putting your cat into the carrier, call me to do that for you.
Need the strength of your reptile’s UV light and distance checked.
Blood pressure reading, important if your pet has certain chronic medical conditions. Going to the vet often causes their blood pressure to rise.
You don’t or can’t drive and getting a taxi is very difficult especially for large dogs. I do vet taxi trips.
