WHAT WE DO

Breakfast meetings

Sometimes beginning the working day with networking can get us all off to a good start. That’s why our breakfast meetings have been really popular. Over a tea or coffee and a bacon or egg roll, we meet at The Dean Park Hotel in Kirkcaldy almost every month to network with like-minded women. Networking takes place around the table, with a chance to give a 60-second pitch about your business. Check out our events page for more details.

Social

We have a few evening meals together during the year so that members and non-members have the chance to let their hair down and enjoy a night out and get to know one another better. We’ve also had trips to the Edinburgh Festival. Not everyone can make it to our breakfast meetings, so we like to mix things up.

We also have drop in coffee mornings in Dunfermline at The Crooked Glen and at have joined up with St Andrews business club for a walk & talk along the West Sands for ladies at each end of Fife. They’re very informal and ladies can drop in and out depending on the time they have available.

Training

Training plays an important role in helping women advance their personal development. The FWB committee aims to organise several training sessions across the year that are relevant to women in business. These usually take place in the evening over a meal, giving you an opportunity for some networking before the speaker is introduced. The committee is always open to suggestions, so if you are someone who could offer some training for Fife Womein in Business, or if you have an idea for some training that might be relevant to women in business, please get in touch.
